American
League - Jesse Litsch, New York Flatirons
Nobody was
pleasantly surprised by his Block 4 performance more than Jesse Litsch.
Litsch won all four of his starts and compiled a dazzling 1.84 ERA, while
holding opponents to a stingy 19 hits on 29 1/3 innings pitched.
Litsch is now a surprising 8-1 on the year, and he is a big part of why New
York is now enjoying a comfortable lead in the AL East.

National
League -- Brian Fuentes, Anaheim Ants
"Perfect".
That's the best way to describe Brian Fuentes, who saved 10 games in 10
appearances during Block 4's sixteen games. Fuentes was nearly
unhittable, pitching 9 1/3 scoreless innings and giving up only 3 hits,
while fanning 16. Fuentes seems poised for a breakout year, as his 17
saves currently lead his next nearest competitor in the NL by four.
