Player Of The Block

BLOCK ONE

John Lannan, Oakland OaksAmerican League - John Lannan, Oakland Oaks

John Lannan pitched just about as well as you can in the opening block of the 2010 season.  Lannan spun two complete game shutouts in both of his starts, and helped the Oakland Oaks get off to a rousing start in 2010.

Honorable Mention:

Jason Bartlett [PIT]

Milton Bradley [HOU]

Kenshin Kawakami [TEX]

Albert Pujols [CLE]

Martin Prado, Minnesota MooseNational League -- Martin Prado, Minnesota Moose

Martin Prado was absolutely sensational for the Minnesota Moose in block 1.  Prado laced a league best 20 hits in 49 at-bats, good for an otherworldly .513 batting average.  Prado also had a league best .512 on base percentage, and slugged .590 to boot.

Honorable Mention:

Jonathan Broxton [BAL]

Kevin Correia [DET]
