Baltimore fans certainly got their money's
worth at Camden Yards. Mark |
Prior(8-1) pitched a rare no-hitter as the
amazing Houston Black Dogs toppled |
the pitiful Baltimore Stars 7 to 1. |
Prior was spectacular. He walked 5 Baltimore
batters. The Houston players |
and coaches started to leave Prior alone with
his thoughts after the game |
reached the 7th inning. By the time the 9th
inning rolled around, you could |
hear a pin drop every time he went to his
wind-up - and an explosion after |
every out. Prior recorded 14 strikeouts.
Houston banged out 11 on the |
afternoon. |

Byung-Hyun Kim(0-8) ended up with the loss. He
allowed 3 homeruns in 8 |
innings of work. 'Prior was simply incredible'
losing pitcher Kim said. 'I |
hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man
pitch like that.' |
