  1. Established by owner Alan Lecher, 2005 is the inaugural season for the AL expansion team, Chicago Blue Knights.
  2. January 12, 2005 - Chicago selects Todd Helton as their #1 draft choice (3rd overall) in the 2005 Dispersal Draft.
  3. April 4, 2005 - The Blue Knights play their first game and lose to the Houston Black Dogs, 4-3 in Houston.
  4. April 26, 2005 - Johan Santana pitches a 1-hit shutout vs San Diego.
  5. 2005 All-Star selections are Todd Helton, Manny Ramirez, Johan Santana, Juan Rincon.
  6. July 12, 2005 - Alan Lecher is selected to manage the American League All-Star team.  The AL wins by a score of 4-2.
  7. August 4, 2005 - Endy Chavez steals 6 bases in a game vs Texas.
  8. August 13, 2005 - Johan Santana pitches a 1-hit shutout vs Pittsburgh.
  9. September 1, 2005 - Todd Helton has 5 hits in a game vs Boston.
  10. September 25, 2005 - Todd Helton has 7 RBIs in a game vs Texas.

  27. October 12, 2007 - The Blue Knights lose to the New York Flatirons in round one of the divisional playoffs, 3 games to 2.
